Bucket List
May 11, 2008I think everyone should do this. It is a list of things you want to accomplish before you die. These can’t be life goals, like have kids or get married. They need to be random things you’ve always wanted to do. The catch is you actually have to try and accomplish some of them!
Here’s mine!
- Learn how to drive a stick shift (yes, yes, it’s pathetic I know)
- Swim in the Dead Sea
- Sing on Broadway (this is one of those unattainable ones..if you know me you know why..I am not exactly musically inclined)
- Live in London
- See Gorillas (not at the zoo, I want to see them wild)
- Drive across the US. (Not coasts, I want to see all the middle bits)
- Go to a clambake
- Tend bar on an island..a la Cocktail with Tom Cruise…wait screw the working, I just want to live there.
- See Mount Rushmore
- Learn to snow board (and hopefully not kill myself)
- Go to Russia
- Take the Sound Of Music Tour in Austria (I’m going to sing every damn word of that movie the entire time too!!)
- See the Seven Wonders of the World (yeah I know there are like 25 wonders, but I’ve got my seven all picked out)
- See Buddhist Monks in a monastery
- Canoe down the Zambezi
Tell me some of yours..I can’t promise I won’t steal them…

How’s it going? I’m new to 20sb and checked out your blog. After reading this post I thought I shouldn’t pass it up. The only problem, I haven’t given much thought to a bucket list, but here goes:
1. Learn to play 10 songs on the guitar.
2. Run a marathon
3. Sing a solo at a wedding
4. Have a building on a college campus named after me
5. See the sun rise and set from 25 different countries
6. Practice being a vegetarian for a month
7. Skydive
8. Live long enough o have a spend time with great grandchildren
9. Complete a Master’s Degree
10. Be in a music video
11. Ability to stop whatever I am doing, leave, and offer support to people in a disaster area
12. Be the keynote speaker at a graduation
13. Go on a cruise
14. Learn how to play cricket
I have to stop there cause that took me a good half hour to come up with.
Thanks for providing me the opportunity to think about something fun like that!
